From Brad:
Where do I start? The get together was just me wanting to have those who have shared time in my life/career/passions to meet one another & share good times. The car thing is something I was fully vested in in my high school days and influenced my career. Many awards from the car show days were on display, and having my best friend Gary down along with his blue El Camino was great! My dad did all the paint & bodywork and now that he’s got nothing better to do, he’s got his Burgundy 1940 Chevy which was on display- I’m grateful to still have him around at 84. Mitch having the motorcycle thing becoming just play riding now, he has his Bronco & is learning what it takes to build vehicles-really happy he & Matt are taking part in preserving my passion for cars. The framed photos are from our track days-and MOST of them are because we had direct contact or training from them-we have an amazing sport! The trophies on the cabinets are our High Point trophies from flat track & TT racing. The tools, equipment, hardware I’ve had a good portion of my life.
The shop as a whole was just a wish, but Christine made it happen so I’m one lucky guy.
My dad did the bodywork on my gold El Camino-NOT the blue one.
